Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity GmbH was founded quite recently. What does it cover?
Reik Hesselbarth (CFO Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity GmbH):
Historically, Rohde & Schwarz has been active in cybersecurity since the early 1990s. Over time it has made several acquisitions, such as ipoque, Adyton, gateprotect and, last but not least, Sirrix. As a result, we already have skills and resources at various locations and are now pooling them. From this stable foundation, we can take a targeted approach to our continued development.
Ammar Alkassar (CEO Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity GmbH):
What are we doing at Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity? Our challenge in Germany is that although we have a lot of excellent innovations and research in this field, practically the entire industry purchases in the USA. We want to change that. Our goal is to become Europe's biggest player in the security field. With about 400 employees, we are already the largest in Germany. We want to bundle and build on the innovative strength we have in Germany and of course to excel in offering products and service that meet the needs of German and European industry and companies.
